I have had the pleasure of dealing with Joel & Stor-U-Self for the past 15 years. In all my dealings with Joel specifically & Stor-U-Self in general he has always had a customer 1st demeaner. He has always listens & offers the best solutions. Joel's customer service is impeccable, what a great person! Trust & believe Stor-U-Self will always cover all of your moving & storage needs.

The units are climate controlled and affordable and if that weren't enough, Joel, the manager there is truly personable, helpful & fun. His customer service chops are above and beyond. I have even rented U-hauls here and most recently helped me with an issue during his day off as he happened to be passing by. Need more? I also got a card from him wishing me a happy 4th. I have been a very satisfied customer of Stor-U-Self in Bifield, Ma. for over ten years. Their staff has always been extremely helpful. The facility is Climate controlled, always very clean, very well maintained, and very safe and secure. I have rented other non-climate controlled units from other facilities in the past and only to find that my stored possessions have been ruined by water droplets which have formed on the units ceiling and then rained down on, and damaged, every object I was storing in the unit. This has never been and never will be a concern for me with my items stored at Stor-U-Self. Steve P. Georgetown, Ma.

I have been using this facility for the past three years or more to store a few personal items in a container. Its what I needed at the time. Dan and Joel have been very helpful and courteous always.

We have been storing here since 2016. It is a good value. It is clean and secure, and there are always plenty of carts available to use to transport your stuff in and out.

This storage facility is very convenient, right off of 95. The staff is very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and they provide plenty of rollers. Parking is easy and there are plenty of spaces provided.

This was the best alternative, upon selling our home, for storage. The process was quick, simple and economical. The facility is clean and has a regular check by a person on foot. The process of closing out our contract was equally efficient and simple. Great job by the front office staff

This is the second time I have used Stor U Self for the save keeping of my personal items. The last time my items were stored for 5 years. I found the staff to be helpful and courteous, the facility clean and open plenty of hours and the pricing to be fair in comparison to other facilities.

We have had out storage unit for 4 years now. Actually, 3 different units. We got a small one to start and in the second year decided we needed a bigger space. During the summer we are in and out several times a month. It is always clean and the staff is great. This year we had some health issues and moved to the first floor. My only complaint is the lack of an elevator. Being right off the highway makes it very convenient.

Great place, clean and very accomodating

Pleasantly surprised with the storage facility - clean, indoor and very secure. Dan was outstanding with his help in explaining all the details.

It's clean. It's dry. It's well lit. It holds all my excess junk and faded memories. I mean, what more can I ask for from my local self-storage place? In all honesty, as far as storage facilities goes, this one checks all those boxes with ease - that alone would have earned it 5 stars and a rave review. But, what makes this place really exceptional is the staff. They are friendly, there if you need them, and just helpful enough without being overly available. Because, let's face it, as your sorting through the dusty memories of your failed marriage, the last thing you need is someone checking in every few minutes to see if you need help. And this place gets that.

The personal are professional, friendly, helpful and considerate of the customers concerns, and needs. I've done business with this location for well over a decade. I have always been completely satisfied with their service, and especially satisfied in the last couple of years.

I've been storing my extra household items with StoreUSelf in Byfield for at least 15 years. I have always felt my items were secure. Customer care always went above and beyond to answer my questions.

I’ve been using this Storage Company for over 20 years. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. They are very friendly and accommodating. They personnel are always helpful and pleasant to associate with. I wouldn’t have been with them all these years if everything about the company, personnel and facilities were not of the Highest Quality.

We have been renting a unit at stor-u-self for about 2 months now. Clean, friendly storage place and great communication.

I just moved back to Byfield after three years overseas. Moved a houseful of stuff to StorUSelf Byfield before we left. Went over the other day to start moving stuff back home from the unit, amd was a bit nervous to see how everything had survived the long storage. I was amazed to find all of our things in the unit completely clean, as if we had just dropped them off the day before, no dust, bugs, odors, mustiness, even though the units have grates on top, are not closed off to the ceiling above. What the?!?! Amazing! Joel and Dan and staff keep the place spotless and the climate control system really keeps everything dry and in great condition. Great experience. Thank you StorUSelf!!

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained and as pleasant a storage facility can be, the staff are helpful and the contracts are negotiable. I would have left 5 stars except Sore-U-Self needs to admonish their landlord for being irresponsible about the worn and deeply in need of repair frontage platform to the facility. The fix is rather easy, and typical of most industrial landlords who often say, "we'll get to it soon" as it stays in disrepair. The lip causes dollys to jump and thus your belongings can land on the ground because of it. It's a quick repair, that can be performed by any mason with a transition T-bar. It's a constant irritant to me every time I need to use it.

I was pleased with how easy and economical a storage unit is in Byfield. I was able to get rid of some items I was storing and so needed to downsize the unit. It was remarkably easy to swap to a smaller unit.

The store u self facility in Byfield is not only a well kept and clean facility, the employees are so friendly and are on top of everything. I have rented here about 8 years ago and I was so pleased with doing business with them I returned. And telling anyone else who is looking for a well established and secure storage facility. I not only enjoy the doing business with Store-U-Self and feeling safe to have my unit, but it is a pleasure to have a more than a number feeling. Their knowledge of the business and care that is put into it is very ensuring. If any issues occur the staff is quickly to resolve it. If I leave a message the response time is most often than not less than an hour. Also, if they don't have the answer to any questions, they will do their best to find it. I can not express how happy I am with them!!!!

I've used the Byfield Stor U Self for quite a few years. The convenience and cleanliness can't be beat. Easy to get in and out without any hassle. Dealing with Joel all these years has been a pleasure. He helped me with my original unit, then helped me switch to a bigger unit. I've rented their moving vans (which they keep on sight) - a very easy process. Pricing is average for this area. You might be able to find something a little cheaper somewhere, but I don't think it would be worth it. I've been there alone at night and have never felt unsafe. There are lights and cameras everywhere. This is the place to go if you have storage needs.

I am impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and the rest of the building. The help is professional and courteous and prompt when I need help or needed to rent another unit. I would strongly recommend this Storage facility to anyone needing a clean, quiet , and friendly company.

Store U Self, Newbury, has eased the process of our home transition. Dan helped us acquire a storage unit for our belongings in a safe and climate controlled building. When on moving day, it became clear the unit I chose was not large enough, Dan worked quickly to find us 3 options which prevented me from having to secure our belongings in 2 separate locations and allowed the moving process to continue seamlessly . It has been a pleasure working with Store U self and a relief knowing our belongings were safe until our new home was ready. Thank you!

Great service! Have been renting for a short while with reasonable prices and excellent service! Would recommend storing your items here if you want a safe, clean , convenient location. You can even rent uhaul trucks on location.

This is the most professionally run storage facility I have ever done business with! In particular, Joel is absolutely fabulous! He is more than accommodating, friendly, and professional. I'm taking away 2 stars unfortunately.. This is at no fault of the gentleman who tried his best to deal with Uhaul but unfortunately if you choose to do business with a company it reflects on your business as well.. we had placed an online order for a truck pickup at a different location and had been transferred to Stor-u-self by uhaul via text.. We tried reaching out to Uhaul and Stor-u-self ahead of time to confirm and no one was answering.. 3 days go by and we pick up the truck.. trucks not there.. we waited over an hour for a truck that was supposed to be turned in the day before. The whole time we waited Uhaul wouldnt answer him or us when trying to call to see about another pick up location or possibly being discounted. He did end up discounting us on his end. .::Edit::. The Uhaul was booked under my partners name.

Joel & Dan at the Byfield/ Newbury location are uniformly excellent; wonderful to deal with, personable and highly competent. It's great to see occasional glimmers of excellence in Services businesses and they have been terrific to work with over the past two years. (I've rented other places in past 10 years.)

Very friendly and helpful. Love the tires I got. You wouldn't think you would notice a difference in the ride with the proper tires on the truck. I am very happy hat I went to them to get my new set of tires.

I appreciate the feeling safety even when I stop by after business hours to access my unit, I am comfortable bringing my kids along if necessary. The prices are fair and the entire place feels clean and well taken care of, which reassures me of the safety and integrity of my belongings. However, all that aside, my most favorite aspect of this facility is the manager, Joel. He is so warm and personable. Generally speaking, dealing with moving and storing things is such a headache and annoyance in life... Joel makes it such a positive experience. I can never stop by to grab something or add something to my unit without wanting to stop in the office (or take the long way, to go by the office) just to say hi to him. I tell anyone who is moving or downsizing, to go see Joel, I dont even remember the name of the actual place. I just give them the address and Joels name.

These guys are tops! The facility is spotless, heated and there's even music playing in the hallways. The customer service was excellent, and you'll have a hard time finding another like facility that's so reasonably priced, never mind so pleasant to store your things in. I would absolutely use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

I want to preface this by saying that I have dealt with many different storage unit companies in the past for my business. Out of all the facilities in the area, Joel and Dan over at Stor-U-Self Byfield are bar none the best. I have never had one issue over there. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. There are no hidden charges, or extra fees that you see in other facilities. Easy access on and off 95. The units themselves are basically brand new. Extremely cleaned and climate-controlled. I would highly recommend this facility if you are searching for a unit.
