Facility was very clean and well maintained. I would have a flatbed cart when I showed up and never had to find one. The staff was very helpful and always made sure I got the best deal for my money. All and all, it was some of the best self-storage I have used. 10/10 will use again.

They work so hard at keeping this Woburn site so clean, and are always so helpful and professional, on the phone or in the office. Gino has been excellent to work with over all these years. It's also been great to get to know the other staff I've met. I'm glad to know -still- people I trust to keep my family belongings safe. I've also rented a Penske truck from here - again a great experience in a spotless vehicle.

This review is specifically for Gino. I've been a customer since at least 2008 all the way to this present day. Gino was the first and only person I ever saw in the facility when I came in. He's always been super friendly, helpful, and always professional. I love that he's still there after all these years. He's the one I want to speak to if I ever have any concerns or questions and actually in general he's really a great person to talk to anyway. He always puts a smile on my face. The storage units are great too I really can't complain about anything there. I would never go elsewhere. I know my belongings are safe there. Wish you had longer hours of access on weekends but that would be my only suggestion.

Great place to rent from. Pleasant and helpful staff. Geno has always asked about my family every time I've been there. Always polite every time I had to go to retrieve on bring items to my unit. I wouldn't recommend any other place. I been to other storage places in the past. But this place is the best.

No truck parking At All

What an awesome facility and on the top of this, the man Walter- called before I stopped by and he was so nice and very professional- he will make you feel very welcome- an awesome personality- showed me all unit sizes and explained everything so great! Just finished my ~8-month rental of a 10 x 19 unit at Stor-U-Self in Woburn. As far as facilities go, they were both clean and secure. We never worried about the safety of our items, nor our own personal safety when visiting the facility. The facility is also following COVID protocols and we felt safe accessing our belongings during the pandemic. What really sets Stor-U-Self apart from the competition, however, is the customer service. Every interaction with Stor-U-Self employees was delightful and Geno and Chris went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our time at Stor-U-Self Woburn. Those two (and the rest of the company, I am sure) do their best to please customers. I highly recommend their services and if I am in need of storage again, I will gladly return. Thank you Geno and Chris!

Excellent service

My company rents 16ft and larger trucks seasonally, sometimes two or three simultaneously. For ten years, we have worked with Stor-u-Self Woburn. The experience has been very good. When we book trucks, they have them ready and waiting for us. The staff has always taken good care of us. Our clients frequently changed their delivery schedules with short notice. When that has happened, Gino and his team have always rallied to help us with the trucks we need. To stay informed of our truck rental options, we occasionally use Enterprise and U-haul. It seems like when we visit those outfits, the staff is always new and inexperienced. Stor-U-Self is our vendor of choice because they know how to provide rental trucks with ease. They stand head and shoulders above the other truck rental companies.

Geno and team have been phenomenal to work with and we enjoyed with with Chris as well! It was beyond our expectations and the Conneely family will be long time customers!

Shopped around for truck prices. Chris and Geno got us everything we needed.

After selling our house in Lexington in 2017, we put our furniture and belongings into storage while deciding where to live. The move was very stressful but Geno couldn't have been more helpful. Almost two years later we still have our belongings stored there. The facility is clean and well run. Geno continues to be a friendly and helpful presence and while I considered storing our things closer to Boston when I gave up our car, in the end I decided the peace of mind of knowing I was in good hands was more important than convenience.

It's been a tough time trying to find a home and a place to keep us and our belongings until we are able to purchase our home. StorUSelf was an absolute godsend. The folks there are super friendly and helpful and you can't beat the price. The facility is incredibly clean. With all the questions and challenges for my family, a place to keep our things wasn't one of them. I highly recommend this business.

I rented a 5x5 unit. Complex is very nice and clean. I met Dennis and Gino running the place and they are both super friendly as well as a sweet dog named Zoe. Couldn't ask for more out of a self-storage place.

If I could grant Stor-U-Self 5+ stars I would. I moved into one of their 8 x 10 storage units in September of 2016. I did so after having my good in storage at another facility over by Cummings Park in Woburn. Not only were the rates more reasonable but the people who work there, Gino, Kelly and Dennis (and Zoey the pup) welcoming, professional and able to match my storage needs with an appropriate sized unit. No hard sell - just there to please and doing a very fine job of it. Now I find myself moving 14 months later and, while I hate moving, this move has been more organized due to the suggestions given to me by the staff at Stor-U-Self on Conn Street in Woburn, the full range of packing supplies I needed (sold at a discount to their clients who rent storage with them) and accessible hours, too. I feel the facility is totally secure, very well taken care of (spotlessly clean - even the restroom). Lastly, they pipe in the best music to make any moving in or out process to and from the storage facility less of a burden and certainly not as stressful. I am going to miss stopping by their Office when I am there to access my stuff after I empty it out on November 1, 2016. I highly recommend them and if I ever need to rent a storage unit again, it is to Stor-U-Self on Conn Street in Woburn that I will return.

Stor-U-Self is a great facility with superb customer service. This was my first time using a self storage facility and I did not know what to expect. Stor-U-self has a great online portal where you can see what type of units are available as well as the price. When I arrived I immediately saw the many amenities that the facility offers such as indoor storage, loading docks, environmentally controlled, moving dollies and hand trucks, as well as moving materials for sale in the main office. The moving supplies are also a reasonable price. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is considering self storage or if anyone already has a self storage unit with another company, it may be beneficial to switch to this facility.

Great, been a customer for 10 years

Google maps gets confused when you get close to the location of the business and says that it's on the left instead of on the right, or vice versa. They could use a big yellow sign at their driveway that helps with this confusion. These guys are rad. They gave me a free truck on the day I brought my things over (standard policy for them), and have been kind with various issues surrounding my stored items. My stuff was in there for a year and a half from June 2012 until Dec 2013, and included both clothes and papers - no mold accumulated on anything (a great concern for me). I didn't love the fact that I couldnt get in when they were closed (ie in the evenings) since I tend to be more free at night, but theyre open weekdays til 7pm and this seems to be the deal with most storage places. All in all, it was the most affordable deal and nearby, and their flexibility was something Im grateful for. Things to watch out for: those late fees are no joke. Theyre not a ton, but they are automatic and rigorously applied. I believe theyre assessed on every 5th of the month, and then again at some point.

I would highly recommend Stor-U-Self in Woburn to anyone looking for a solution to their storage needs. The staff, Gino and Kelly are friendly, efficient, and extremely accommodating. They consistently go above and beyond to help. Their facility is clean, secure, and very accessible. It is perhaps the most accessible self-storage facility that I have encountered. One level, many doors, & loading docks - moving your belongings in and out couldn't get any easier. I have personally worked in the furniture moving industry for over thirty-five years. As such, I have been in dozens of self-storage facilities. Stor-U-Self is my favorite, and they are certainly one of the best around. I truly can't say enough good things about them. Again, I highly recommend them!

If you are looking for a good clean storage facility this is the one. With ground level easy access units of all sizes. Gino and Kelly are very accommodating and have gone above and beyond to help my company always. As the owner of a moving company I recommend Store-U-Self to all my customers. What bad can I honestly offer? None at this time. Although as a new customer, I can sincerely offer this: After calling, viewing and doing cost analysis for several (more than 5) competing storage facilities - Stor-U-Self is head and shoulders above the closest price or facilities type. [As a car enthusiasts how can I compare a Mercedes-Benz to a Camry? Both are great automobiles but serve different people in an array of usages. Stor-U-Self is the Mercedes.] More useful advice. Far better customer service experience excellence exceeded. Availability and access is unparalleled! Thank you for making my decision a definitive and compelling resounding - YES!!! I've been renting from Store U Self in Woburn for about four years, first for my business storage, and now added some personal storage. I've dealt mostly with Kelley and Gino over the years, and they have always been very courteous and professional. The other folks that I've seen in the office have been nice as well. The facility is very clean - I've often seen or heard someone vacuuming as the place is wrapping up business for the day, and that extra care really shows. Even the bathroom is clean. I am confident that my stuff is secure, and that I'm personally safe when going inside - the surveillance cameras are a welcome part of my experience with Stor U Self. Highly recommend!

I have been renting two storage units at Stor-U-Self in Woburn since 2011. I have had nothing but positive experiences with both Kelly and Geno. The buildings are clean and very well-maintained, and this is one of few storage locations that have access hours seven days a week. There has never been an issue with billing or any of my belongings. The staff goes above & beyond to provide quality customer service, and both Geno and Kelly have been extremely accommodating to my elderly, disabled mother during her trips to their facility. I highly recommend renting from Stor-U-Self!

When I signed up about a year ago it was hassle free & the process was so easy to do. I was impressed on how clean the facility was & the ventilation is great. They also made the transition going to a larger unit easy & they worked with ensuring I didn’t lose any time with dates.

This storage facility is located in Westborough; it is very clean, well kept and Air-Conditioned! I enjoy listening the music they play when I’m there. I’m happy with the location and overall service. The customer service is accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this place, if you’re looking for a storage in the area. Only con is you don’t have 24 hr gate access. Gate access ends at 8p, would be nice to have access until 10p.

This is the first time that I’ve ever rented a storage facility. I was very apprehensive at first the staff environment, and drive in ability changed my perspective. I love this place. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about the facility and walk me through my first rental. I love the fact that you can just drive in With a key code card unload the card from your car and then use the elevator to go upstairs and unload. Thank you so much for keeping this such a great place That is neat and clean. I will share this information with my friends and relatives.

I did and decided on Stor-U-Self of Westborough b/c of the facility and how nice & helpful Paul and the rest of staff are.

The best part of our moving experience was renting a unit in Westborough for odd items we didn’t want to pay the movers $320/ hour to move. The facility is immaculate. Well lit inside too. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. ( Mike assisted me several times.) The prices are very reasonable. A great value!

I am so overwhelmingly pleased with the great customer service from Stor U westborough. I’ve used storage facilities a ton as I’ve traveled w the military often. And the hospitality here is by far the best I’ve experienced ever. Robert was super helpful both times I’ve worked with him. He helped me access the amenities, other services to make my move smooth and didn’t give me the feel that it was a bother for him despite him being the only one working the front desk. The units are well ventilated, extremely CLEAN (which is a priority for me), and just overall incredible. Highly recommend!

Best prices and cleanest place around.

This is new (late 2019) storage facility that is very clean, organized and easy to use. I booked a 10x11 storage unit on the 2nd floor with large elevator, a climate and access controlled environment. You drive inside a large garage, use their flat bed dolly to easily load/unload your items and access your storage area. You are inside the whole time - no weather to deal with. Robert was very courteous, helpful and professional, showed the facility, my storage locker and explained the hours I could add/remove things from my unit. The cost/benefit is excellent, I strongly recommend.

I was attended by William, he was a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, He was very responsive to any of my questions. Its hard to find good customer service now days. Im glad im now a customer from this location.

Will and Rob have been tremendously helpful while we have been storing equipment there for our business. They have been extremely accommodating to our needs, and we feel secure with our equipment there. Highly recommend them both!!

I can’t possibly explain how great this place is. Yeah I know it’s just a storage unit right? But here’s the thing, when you leave your stuff somewhere you want to know it’s safe, clean, and well cared for and by golly if you leave your stuff here it is. Robert and William are awesome. They’re helpful easy to deal with and have been great with the COVID stuff. They constantly go out of their way to help us with our business. We use the shipping docks for pallet deliveries and I can’t tell you how many times my slow a** hasn’t been there on time. But no matter what one of them is always there to call me and let me know “don’t worry, we got it, it’s outside your unit, see you when you get here. Really can’t say enough great things about this place.

Clean areas and great customer service.

Very well taken care of place. The staff is always very helpful and it is very clean and easy to navigate. We were well taken care of when it came time to return our Penske truck rental. This is without a doubt a 5 star business.

This place helped me out a lot, I had a last minute emergency and needed a unit right away and a gentleman by the name William was more than helpful. He was very informative and helped get me all set up. This place is great and has all kinds of hand trucks and flatbed dollies, I must say this place is very clean and secure.

My employer rents 2 storage spaces at Stor-U-Self Westborough. I visit the location frequently and am always impressed by the cleanliness and friendly environment. William and Robert consistently go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, our questions are answered, and we are getting the most out of our spaces. The storage spaces themselves are large, easily accessible and perfect for our long-term storage needs. We have different companies delivering and people picking up from us month-to-month so it really helps that the layout is easy to navigate and access. I definitely recommend it!

Update - January 28, 2021 after being a customer of Stor U Self Westborough for six months: My three vehicles, Mustang, Jeep, and Rover all spent six months at Stor U Self. All were completely safe there. Not one issue. My storage unit was on the first floor, near the loading/unloading area. Building was ALWAYS spotless. William was stellar. William was always making sure I was aware of everything I needed to know as a customer. He answered all my questions, before I asked them! Stellar! William NEEDS to be management as he takes his job so seriously - going WAY beyond the minimum. A+ job, William... A+. And, thank you! Review from July 2020: Met with Robert on the 11th. Robert was super helpful in explaining storage for my three vehicles, and storage units. Rented from William on the 12th. William spent some time with me as we had four different agreements to complete. All went perfectly and left with everything completed to drive my cars over on the 23rd. A+ experience start to finish. Highly recommend.

Robert and William at Westborough location are very professional, helpful, friendly. They helped us on so many occasions when we run out of space; needed a hand; unload. Their admin is excellent as well. They will provide you with invoices, documents, whatever you need - and everything is automatic. Best service ever. Storage spaces are clean, affordable. I’ve rented storage facilities before but never found such a clean ( immaculate) and welcoming place. The hospitality is superb, William and Bob are very helpful and make you feel like home.

Robert and the staff there are the most down to earth people you could ask for. They are super easy to work with, and listen to you if you have an odd situation or request, and actually try their best to accommodate you, something most places care nothing about. We use them all the time as we go through multiple moving jobs, and every time, it is consistent, no matter who you get really, 5 star service, and a very nice, clean, climate controlled facility. They even have very competitive pricing on boxes! And you can Rent Penske trucks there as well. really your 1 stop affordable shop. I like to give a good company good reviews, and I hope mine helps them get a little more business. They deserve it

He took the time to show us multiple units and explain the whole process. We made a reservation for a specific unit at that time and returned a couple of weeks later to finalize our rental and drop off our first load. This is a brand new facility, very clean, and the air conditioning is a HUGE benefit given we packed up in the Summer. They have a drive in area and other doors that you can pull up to, all with carts readily available. They had a great deal and worked with us around timing of our moves. Would recommend!

I have been a very satisfied customer of Stor-U-Self in Bifield, Ma. for over ten years. Their staff has always been extremely helpful. The facility is Climate controlled, always very clean, very well maintained, and very safe and secure. I have rented other non-climate controlled units from other facilities in the past and only to find that my stored possessions have been ruined by water droplets which have formed on the units ceiling and then rained down on, and damaged, every object I was storing in the unit. This has never been and never will be a concern for me with my items stored at Stor-U-Self. Steve P. Georgetown, Ma.

We have had out storage unit for 4 years now. Actually, 3 different units. We got a small one to start and in the second year decided we needed a bigger space. During the summer we are in and out several times a month. It is always clean and the staff is great. This year we had some health issues and moved to the first floor. My only complaint is the lack of an elevator. Being right off the highway makes it very convenient.

It's clean. It's dry. It's well lit. It holds all my excess junk and faded memories. I mean, what more can I ask for from my local self-storage place? In all honesty, as far as storage facilities goes, this one checks all those boxes with ease - that alone would have earned it 5 stars and a rave review. But, what makes this place really exceptional is the staff. They are friendly, there if you need them, and just helpful enough without being overly available. Because, let's face it, as your sorting through the dusty memories of your failed marriage, the last thing you need is someone checking in every few minutes to see if you need help. And this place gets that.

I just moved back to Byfield after three years overseas. Moved a houseful of stuff to StorUSelf Byfield before we left. Went over the other day to start moving stuff back home from the unit, amd was a bit nervous to see how everything had survived the long storage. I was amazed to find all of our things in the unit completely clean, as if we had just dropped them off the day before, no dust, bugs, odors, mustiness, even though the units have grates on top, are not closed off to the ceiling above. What the?!?! Amazing! Joel and Dan and staff keep the place spotless and the climate control system really keeps everything dry and in great condition. Great experience. Thank you StorUSelf!!

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained and as pleasant a storage facility can be, the staff are helpful and the contracts are negotiable. I would have left 5 stars except Sore-U-Self needs to admonish their landlord for being irresponsible about the worn and deeply in need of repair frontage platform to the facility. The fix is rather easy, and typical of most industrial landlords who often say, "we'll get to it soon" as it stays in disrepair. The lip causes dollys to jump and thus your belongings can land on the ground because of it. It's a quick repair, that can be performed by any mason with a transition T-bar. It's a constant irritant to me every time I need to use it.

I was pleased with how easy and economical a storage unit is in Byfield. I was able to get rid of some items I was storing and so needed to downsize the unit. It was remarkably easy to swap to a smaller unit.

The store u self facility in Byfield is not only a well kept and clean facility, the employees are so friendly and are on top of everything. I have rented here about 8 years ago and I was so pleased with doing business with them I returned. And telling anyone else who is looking for a well established and secure storage facility. I not only enjoy the doing business with Store-U-Self and feeling safe to have my unit, but it is a pleasure to have a more than a number feeling. Their knowledge of the business and care that is put into it is very ensuring. If any issues occur the staff is quickly to resolve it. If I leave a message the response time is most often than not less than an hour. Also, if they don't have the answer to any questions, they will do their best to find it. I can not express how happy I am with them!!!!

I've used the Byfield Stor U Self for quite a few years. The convenience and cleanliness can't be beat. Easy to get in and out without any hassle. Dealing with Joel all these years has been a pleasure. He helped me with my original unit, then helped me switch to a bigger unit. I've rented their moving vans (which they keep on sight) - a very easy process. Pricing is average for this area. You might be able to find something a little cheaper somewhere, but I don't think it would be worth it. I've been there alone at night and have never felt unsafe. There are lights and cameras everywhere. This is the place to go if you have storage needs.

I am impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and the rest of the building. The help is professional and courteous and prompt when I need help or needed to rent another unit. I would strongly recommend this Storage facility to anyone needing a clean, quiet , and friendly company.

Store U Self, Newbury, has eased the process of our home transition. Dan helped us acquire a storage unit for our belongings in a safe and climate controlled building. When on moving day, it became clear the unit I chose was not large enough, Dan worked quickly to find us 3 options which prevented me from having to secure our belongings in 2 separate locations and allowed the moving process to continue seamlessly . It has been a pleasure working with Store U self and a relief knowing our belongings were safe until our new home was ready. Thank you!

I'm taking away 2 stars unfortunately.. This is at no fault of the gentleman who tried his best to deal with Uhaul but unfortunately if you choose to do business with a company it reflects on your business as well.. we had placed an online order for a truck pickup at a different location and had been transferred to Stor-u-self by uhaul via text.. We tried reaching out to Uhaul and Stor-u-self ahead of time to confirm and no one was answering.. 3 days go by and we pick up the truck.. trucks not there.. we waited over an hour for a truck that was supposed to be turned in the day before. The whole time we waited Uhaul wouldnt answer him or us when trying to call to see about another pick up location or possibly being discounted. He did end up discounting us on his end. .::Edit::. The Uhaul was booked under my partners name.

I appreciate the feeling safety even when I stop by after business hours to access my unit, I am comfortable bringing my kids along if necessary. The prices are fair and the entire place feels clean and well taken care of, which reassures me of the safety and integrity of my belongings. However, all that aside, my most favorite aspect of this facility is the manager, Joel. He is so warm and personable. Generally speaking, dealing with moving and storing things is such a headache and annoyance in life... Joel makes it such a positive experience. I can never stop by to grab something or add something to my unit without wanting to stop in the office (or take the long way, to go by the office) just to say hi to him. I tell anyone who is moving or downsizing, to go see Joel, I dont even remember the name of the actual place. I just give them the address and Joels name.

These guys are tops! The facility is spotless, heated and there's even music playing in the hallways. The customer service was excellent, and you'll have a hard time finding another like facility that's so reasonably priced, never mind so pleasant to store your things in. I would absolutely use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

I want to preface this by saying that I have dealt with many different storage unit companies in the past for my business. Out of all the facilities in the area, Joel and Dan over at Stor-U-Self Byfield are bar none the best. I have never had one issue over there. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. There are no hidden charges, or extra fees that you see in other facilities. Easy access on and off 95. The units themselves are basically brand new. Extremely cleaned and climate-controlled. I would highly recommend this facility if you are searching for a unit.
